Juliet Balcony

Minimal projection, full protection

The Juliet Balcony is the simplest way to make a full-height upstairs window safe to open all the way. The guard is a flat, closed frame: square sections run around the whole perimeter, a flat rectangular rail runs along the top, and vertical square bars fill the middle. It sits against the wall on flat fixing plates and barely stands proud of the facade.

That makes the Juliet right wherever a quiet facade matters: apartment blocks, townhouses, narrow pavements and buildings where the guard should not draw attention. Matching sets for many windows

The Juliet is well suited to projects with lots of windows. We can make a series of identical guards or build each to its own opening while keeping the same infill rhythm across the whole facade. The standard infill is 12 x 12 mm square bars with a clear gap of no more than 100 mm, and a denser spacing is made on request.

Made to measure

The base size is 1500 x 1100 mm. Width and height are matched to your opening, and the bar spacing is recalculated so the gaps stay even across the full width.

Materials and construction

• Full welded perimeter frame in square section
• Flat rectangular top rail with a clean, squared profile
• Vertical infill in square section
• Flat mounting plates pre-drilled for anchors, sitting tight to the facade
• S235JR steel or welded aluminium, welds ground before finishing

Finish

Steel is powder-coated in any RAL colour, and for facades exposed to a lot of moisture we hot-dip galvanise it, either on its own or under the powder coat. Aluminium needs no galvanising and can be powder-coated in the colour of your choice.

We confirm your order within 2 working days without changing the price or the delivery cost, and you pay by bank transfer after our confirmation; if you are unsure, ask before ordering. Collect the guards free of charge from our workshop, or choose delivery in Poland, Spain, Italy or the United Kingdom at the flat rate shown at checkout (for the UK, import VAT and duty are paid on arrival); delivery to other countries is by quotation.
