Single-Leaf Steel Driveway Gate

One leaf, one clean line

A single-leaf gate is the simpler machine. There is no centre latch to align, no drop bolt in the driveway surface and no pair of leaves to keep level with each other over the years. The whole gate opens in one movement, and the vertical slats form an uninterrupted surface that looks calm and solid from the street.

One leaf or two

A leaf sweeps an arc as wide as the leaf itself, so you need that much clear space behind the gate to open it fully. If the drive is short, rises behind the gate or the opening is very wide, the Steel Double-Leaf Driveway Gate is the better fit, because two leaves halve the arc and the weight on each hinge post. Send a photo and the dimensions of your entrance and we advise on the layout.

The post and hinges do the work

On a single-leaf gate the entire weight hangs from one post, so the reference leaf hangs on two adjustable heavy-duty M24 weld-on hinges, and the post and hinges are checked against the actual width and height of your leaf. We can supply posts with the gate or match the leaf to posts you already have.

Construction

• Perimeter frame in 60 x 40 x 3 mm box section, welded and checked for square
• Vertical slat infill at even centres
• Slat spacing recalculated for each width, with no odd gap at one end
• Two adjustable heavy-duty M24 weld-on hinges; lock chosen for your gate
• Welds cleaned before finishing

Automation

If you plan a gate operator, tell us at order time. We agree the preparation for the drive with you before production, rather than drilling it later on site.

Finish

Powder coating in any RAL colour, or hot-dip galvanising, also with a powder-coated top layer. We match the colour to your fence, wicket gate or window frames so the gate belongs to the house.

We confirm your order within 2 working days without changing the price or the delivery cost, and you pay by bank transfer after our confirmation. Collect your order free of charge from our workshop, or choose delivery in Poland, Spain, Italy or the United Kingdom at the flat rate shown at checkout (for the UK, import VAT and duty are paid on arrival); delivery to other countries is by quotation. Products ordered in the shop are ready for collection within 7 weeks of your order, or delivered in Poland, Spain, Italy or the United Kingdom, or by courier in Germany, within 9 weeks, if our order confirmation reaches you by the end of the second working day after your order and you pay within 7 days of receiving it; if it reaches you later, these times run from the day your payment arrives.
