The Loft Bed with Integrated Desk is designed around the desk. Under the sleeping platform runs a long oak worktop across the full length of the frame, at a proper 750 mm working height, with room for a monitor, a lamp and a chair. Above it, the mattress lies on a platform of welded steel slats. It is the bed for a student room, a home office in a studio flat or an attic room where a desk and a bed would never fit side by side.

The frame is welded from black steel square section, with straight lines and square corners that give it an industrial, loft character. A guard runs around the whole platform edge, 350 mm above the bed base and open only at the ladder, and a vertical ladder rises at the front, so no floor space in front of the desk is lost.

Made to measure for your room

The base configuration is a 1000 x 2060 mm platform for a 90 or 100 x 200 cm mattress, with the top of the platform at 1500 mm and the desk at 750 mm. Every frame is welded to order, so we adapt:

• platform width for mattresses from 90 to 160 cm,
• platform height to your ceiling, including attic rooms,
• desk depth, length and worktop material,
• ladder side and position, with the guard opening beside it.

Materials and construction

• Welded steel frame; for furniture we prefer 60 x 60 x 2 mm box section
• Welded steel slatted platform, no separate slatted base to buy
• Oak desk top on a steel frame, built into the bed structure
• Guard on every side of the platform, 350 mm above the bed base, with one 300-400 mm opening at the ladder and gaps of 60-75 mm
• Vertical welded steel ladder

Finish

The frame is powder-coated for a hard, scratch-resistant surface. Matte black as shown gives the classic loft look with the warm oak desk; graphite, white or any other RAL shade are just as easy. The oak top is oiled.

Mattress and bedding are not included; use a mattress up to 150 mm thick. The bed must be fixed to the wall and is not for children under 6. Exact dimensions and colour are confirmed with you before fabrication.

Order the standard version at the price shown; for another size, ask for a quotation before ordering, giving your room dimensions, ceiling height and mattress size. We confirm your order within 2 working days without changing the price or the delivery cost, and you pay by bank transfer after our confirmation; if you are unsure, ask before ordering. Collect the bed free of charge from our workshop, or choose delivery in Poland, Spain, Italy or the United Kingdom at the flat rate shown at checkout (for the UK, import VAT and duty are paid on arrival); delivery to other countries is by quotation.
