How high does a balustrade need to be?

As high as the building regulations require for your country and building, and we make it to exactly that height. Our balcony balustrades and Juliet balconies are 1100 mm as standard, and our steel balustrade and stair railings 1000 mm, measured from the stair nosing line on stairs. Height is measured from the finished floor, so give it after tiles or decking are laid, and if you have drawings, send us the height from them. Check the country-by-country height guide.
