The Steel Pergola Carport is a freestanding pergola welded from steel: four square posts on welded base plates carry box-section beams, with parallel steel slats between them. By day it shades a terrace; park under it and it shelters a car.

The beam corners are fully welded with concealed joints, and the slats sit inside the beam depth for a flush top line. The S235 steel is ground, then powder coated in any RAL colour over a zinc primer. The slat roof gives shade and lets air move, and the standard size fits one car or a six-seat dining set.

The standard footprint is 5000 x 3000 mm with 2600 mm clear height. Every structure is made to order: double-car widths, raised clearance for vans, or one side carried on a wall beam. A covered-roof option combines closely spaced slats with a sheet-steel deck. A gutter, side screens and lighting rails are options.

It is ordered through a quotation: the standard version is quoted at the price shown, and for another footprint or height send the sizes you need. The quotation states the rest, and an assembly drawing with the footing layout comes to you for approval before fabrication. Base plates and anchor bolts for concrete footings are included.

One structure, two jobs

By day it shades a terrace; parked under, it shelters a car. This pergola is a fully welded steel portal structure: four square posts with welded base plates carry deep box-profile perimeter beams, and a deck of parallel steel slats spans between them. The slat roof breaks sun and rain while letting air move, and because the whole frame is steel rather than aluminium extrusion, it takes real snow and wind loads without flexing.

The 5000 × 3000 mm standard suits a single car or a six-seat dining set with room to move. Every structure is fabricated to order, so you can change anything:

Footprint: double-car widths, long terrace runs, or compact 3 × 3 m garden formats
Height: raised clearance for vans and campers
Roof: open slat spacing for shade, tight spacing plus a sheet-steel deck for full rain cover
Attachment: freestanding on base plates, or one side carried on a wall beam
Extras: integrated gutter in the perimeter beam, side screens, lighting rails

Finish

Powder-coated in any RAL colour over zinc primer. Matt black RAL 9005 (shown) and anthracite RAL 7016 are the most requested; the coating system is specified for permanent outdoor exposure.

Lead time

Each pergola is fabricated to order. Products ordered in the shop are ready for collection within 7 weeks of your order, or delivered in Poland, Spain, Italy or the United Kingdom, or by courier in Germany, within 9 weeks, if our order confirmation reaches you by the end of the second working day after your order and you pay within 7 days of receiving it; if it reaches you later, these times run from the day your payment arrives.
