Choosing an upholstered bed

The four designs differ mainly in the headboard. The bed with a tall headboard quilted in vertical channels has its own page for each mattress size, starting with the upholstered bed for a 160 x 200 cm mattress. Chevron has a tall headboard stitched in a chevron and a low base on short black legs. Quadro has a headboard in quilted squares and storage for bedding under a mattress frame that lifts on gas springs. Atelier shows its black welded steel frame, with two upholstered panels in the headboard. Chevron, Quadro and Atelier are each made for all three mattress sizes.

The version decides what is under the fabric. In Classic upholstered beds the sides and headboard have an upholstered chipboard body, and the mattress rests on a frame welded from steel sections. In Premium upholstered beds we weld the whole side structure from steel sections as well, and the upholsterer covers it in your fabric.

What to send and how ordering works

Order the design at the price shown, or ask before ordering if you are unsure about the version, the fabric or your room. The price shown is for the Classic version (Atelier is made only in Premium) and, on Chevron, Quadro and Atelier, for a 160 x 200 cm mattress; the Premium version and larger sizes cost more, and we confirm their price when we approve your order, before you pay. When ordering, choose the bed design, mattress size, fabric and colour; the upholsterer we work with makes the upholstery. Each product page lists the outer dimensions and the headboard height, 120 cm from the floor as standard (110 cm on Atelier); other heights are made to measure. For Quadro, tell us the height and type of your mattress so we can match the lifting mechanism. Storage is standard on Quadro; for the bed with the channelled headboard, a version with storage and a lifting base is possible on request.

Every bed is made to order, for your mattress and your bedroom. Mattress and bedding are not included.
