The Loft Dining Table with Steel U-Frame is an oak dining table with a steel base: a 40 mm solid oak top on two U-frames welded from closed steel section.

The frames are set in from the ends and there is no apron or stretcher, so chairs slide in anywhere along the length. The top is fixed through slotted holes so the wood can move with the seasons.

The standard table is 1600 x 800 mm, 740 mm high, and seats six. It can also be shorter or longer, wider or taller, including bar height, come with matching benches, or be ordered as the base alone for a top you already own. The oak is oiled and the frames are powder-coated in any RAL colour, with matte black RAL 9005 as the loft classic.

The oiled oak top is included in your chosen size, with the fixing hardware. Two steel frames, one solid top

The Loft Dining Table with Steel U-Frame pairs a 40 mm solid oak top with two U-frames welded from closed steel section. Each frame is a single rigid loop: two uprights, a floor bar and a bar under the top. The frames are set in from the table ends, so chairs slide in anywhere along the length.

There is no apron under the top and no stretcher between the legs. The stiffness comes from the section and the welds, which is exactly what a steel base is for. The thick 40 mm top gives the table a strong, full edge that balances the solid frames.

Made to measure for your dining room

The standard table is 1600 x 800 mm at 740 mm high and seats six comfortably. Every table is made to order, so you can choose:

a shorter four-seater or a longer family or meeting table,
a different width and height, including bar height,
matching benches on the same U-frames,
the base alone, to carry a top you already own.

Finish

The frames are powder-coated in the RAL colour of your choice. Matte black RAL 9005 is the loft classic, but anthracite, white or an accent colour are made the same way. The oak top is oiled, which brings out the grain and makes the surface easy to refresh years later.
