Geometric A-Frame Garden Swing

A swing frame reduced to clear geometry

The Geometric A-Frame Garden Swing is welded from heavy steel box profile, so the frame reads as a drawn line in the garden rather than as garden furniture: sloping legs at each end, one straight top crossbeam, and a bench with a slatted seat and back hanging on steel chain from the beam. The A-frame is the main version of this swing.

The additional image in the gallery explores the same idea with a different silhouette: a low trapezoidal base at each side, resting on a long rail that runs front to back, with a tall straight post rising from it and a single straight crossbeam across the top. The bench hangs from that crossbeam on four chains, two at each side, and swings clear between the two sides. The outline becomes sharper and more sculptural.

The bench drawn there has warm natural timber slats on a black steel frame with simple armrests, shown as one option for the seat. It is a design concept: the sections, the joints, the way the frame stands, the foundation, the clearance the bench needs as it swings and the materials we supply are agreed with you before fabrication.

What we agree with you before production

• the frame version: the A-frame as shown (standard), or the angular frame with trapezoidal sides,
• the dimensions: 2200 x 1500 x 2100 mm with a 1300 mm bench as standard, or made to measure,
• the seating: two places on the standard 1300 mm bench, or a longer bench made to measure,
• the sections (80 x 80 x 3 mm frame and 40 x 40 x 2 mm bench as standard), the chain suspension and the fittings at the beam,
• base plates, foundations and how the frame is fixed on site,
• the corrosion protection, the coating and the RAL colour.

Finish

Powder coating in the RAL colour you choose. For a swing standing outside all year, the corrosion protection and the coating system are set for that use and agreed with you before production. Graphite and deep black are the usual choices, and the frame and the bench can be finished in different colours.

Order the standard version at the price shown; for the angular frame or another size, ask for a quotation, telling us where the swing will stand and how many people should sit on it. We confirm your order within 2 working days without changing the price or the delivery cost. Products ordered in the shop are ready for collection within 7 weeks of your order, or delivered in Poland, Spain, Italy or the United Kingdom, or by courier in Germany, within 9 weeks, if our order confirmation reaches you by the end of the second working day after your order and you pay within 7 days of receiving it; if it reaches you later, these times run from the day your payment arrives.
