Hopper or collection container?

The self-dumping hopper suits waste that goes to a skip regularly: steel offcuts, metal swarf, wood chips, sawdust or cardboard. It stands beside the machine; when it is full, a forklift lifts it by the pockets in the base, the operator releases the manual locking lever and the body tips forward on its pivots to empty. Set back down, it returns upright and locks. The steel plate body has a sloping front and a reinforced top edge, on a rigid base frame with welded fork pockets.

The collection container is the simpler choice for offcuts, scrap and parts waiting for the next stage. Its steel sheet body is welded into an angle-profile frame with continuous welds, smooth inner walls and a reinforced top rim, and welded corner feet leave room for a pallet truck or forklift. Fork pockets, castors, lifting eyes or dividers can be added on request.

What to send and how ordering works

Both containers have a standard size that you can order at the price shown, and either can be fabricated to your process. Tell us what goes in, the space available and how the container is moved; for a hopper, also how much builds up per week and your fork dimensions. We reply within 24 hours on working days and confirm capacity, plate or sheet thickness, pocket spacing, handling details and the price in your order confirmation before you pay. Collect the container in person or ask for delivery, priced by postcode.

Both are painted in an industrial coating, dark grey as standard on the hopper and graphite on the collection container, or in any RAL colour, for example to colour-code materials. Hot-dip galvanising is available for containers that stand outside. Several hoppers can be built as a set, one per machine or per material, and a row of collection containers in one colour keeps steel, aluminium and cardboard apart.
