The Slatted Steel Bin Shelter is a welded steel trash can enclosure for wheelie bins. Horizontal steel slats on the sides, back and doors hide the bins and let air through, and a flat sheet-steel roof with a concealed fall keeps the rain off.

The frame is welded from 60 x 60 mm box section. The slatted double doors swing on welded hinges, open the full width and close with a lockable latch, ready for a padlock. Adjustable feet level the unit on paving or concrete.

The standard unit is 1800 x 800 x 1300 mm and takes two 240 l bins. Every shelter is made to order for your bins, whether 120 l, 240 l, 360 l or 1100 l containers: wider or deeper, with three or four door bays, a section for recycling boxes, a corner layout or a wall-backed version without a rear panel, or a row for an apartment building. It is hot-dip galvanised, then powder coated in any RAL colour.

Order the standard version at the price shown; for other bins, ask for a quotation before ordering, giving their number and sizes. For a made-to-measure shelter, the quotation states the dimensions and door layout. The doors come hung and adjusted, with fixing hardware for concrete or paving.

A proper home for your bins

Wheelie bins are the least attractive thing standing in front of any house. This shelter solves that with a clean, architectural steel enclosure: horizontal slats screen the bins while keeping air moving, a flat steel roof keeps rain off, and lockable double doors give you full-width access on collection day. The slatted front doors swing open on welded hinges, and adjustable feet let the unit sit level on paving or concrete.

Made to measure: sized to your bins

The pictured unit is our standard two-bin format, but every shelter is fabricated to order. Tell us how many bins you have and their sizes (120 l, 240 l, 360 l or 1100 l containers) and we build the enclosure around them: wider, deeper, taller, with three or four door bays, or with a separate section for recycling boxes. Corner units, wall-backed units without a rear panel, and rows for apartment buildings are all standard requests.

Finish

Every shelter is hot-dip galvanised and then powder-coated in any RAL colour you choose. The black shown in the pictures is RAL 9005; anthracite RAL 7016 and traffic grey are equally popular. The combination of zinc and powder coat is built for decades outdoors.

Standard dimensions

1800 mm wide × 800 mm deep × 1300 mm high: fits two 240 l wheelie bins. Any other size on request at no design surcharge.

Lead time

Each shelter is fabricated to order in our workshop. Products ordered in the shop are ready for collection within 7 weeks of your order, or delivered in Poland, Spain, Italy or the United Kingdom, or by courier in Germany, within 9 weeks, if our order confirmation reaches you by the end of the second working day after your order and you pay within 7 days of receiving it; if it reaches you later, these times run from the day your payment arrives.
