The Steel Garden Daybed Lounger is a low outdoor daybed: a slatted deck on two recessed sled runners. The runners sit inboard, so the platform appears to float just above the ground.

The deck is longer than the mattress, leaving an open slat ledge at each end that works as a side table. The whole daybed is one welded piece of rectangular profile and slats, with no assembly. Choose steel for a heavy, planted daybed or aluminium for a lighter one.

The standard size is 2000 mm long, 900 mm wide and 350 mm high. Double-width versions of 1400 to 1800 mm, a longer ledge at one or both ends and heights from 250 to 450 mm are made to order. The frame is shot-blasted and powder coated in any RAL colour, with matt black (RAL 9005) as shown.

The mattress and cushions are not included; a fitted outdoor pad, cut to the deck, can be sourced on request and is priced separately. Order the standard version at the price shown and name your colour in the order comment at checkout; for another mattress size, ask for a quotation and we adapt the deck around it.

A floating steel platform for slow afternoons

The Steel Garden Daybed Lounger is the simplest silhouette in our garden line: a slatted steel deck hovering just above the ground on two recessed sled runners. Because the legs sit inboard, the platform appears to float, and the deck deliberately runs longer than the mattress, leaving an exposed slat ledge at each end that works as an integrated side table. One welded piece, no assembly, nothing to wobble.

Made to measure: any size on request

The standard daybed measures 2000 mm long, 900 mm wide and 350 mm high. Every unit is fabricated to order, so the format is yours to define:

Double-width versions (1400–1800 mm) for two
Extended decks with a longer table ledge on one or both ends
Custom heights: from floor-hugging 250 mm to bench-height 450 mm
Sized to fit a mattress or cushion you already own

Materials and construction

The frame and runners are built from 60 x 20 x 2 mm rectangular profile; the deck is a field of parallel welded slats that drains rain instantly and supports the pad evenly with no sag points. Choose steel for a planted, immovable feel or aluminium for a lighter build that one person can reposition. All joints are fully welded and ground clean.

Finish

Shot-blasted and powder-coated in any RAL colour: matte black (RAL 9005) as shown, anthracite, or an accent shade, with the colour you choose included in the price shown; special finishes such as textured or metallic are options priced in a quotation. The finish is weatherproof for year-round outdoor use.

Lead time and delivery

Each daybed is fabricated to order. Products ordered in the shop are ready for collection within 7 weeks of your order, or delivered in Poland, Spain, Italy or the United Kingdom, or by courier in Germany, within 9 weeks, if our order confirmation reaches you by the end of the second working day after your order and you pay within 7 days of receiving it; if it reaches you later, these times run from the day your payment arrives.Questions about sizing?
