Horizontal Metal Pedestrian Gate

A modern entrance on foot

The pedestrian gate is the part of the fence people touch every day, so it should look good and close with a solid, reassuring sound. This one is welded from steel: a rigid frame filled with horizontal slats in an even rhythm, hung on strong hinges between two square posts with base plates. The narrow gaps between the slats give privacy while letting light and air through.

The horizontal design matches our cantilever sliding gate and fence panels. Ordered together, gate, driveway gate and fence share the same slat spacing and colour, and the whole boundary looks like a single, carefully made piece.

Made to measure for your entrance

We build every gate to the opening on site:

• clear opening width and leaf height,
• slat width and gap size,
• hinge side and opening direction,
• lock, handle and preparation for an electric strike or intercom,
• posts on base plates or for setting in concrete.

A welded gate keeps its shape: the frame does not sag towards the lock over the years, so it keeps closing cleanly and the lock keeps catching without adjustment.

Finish

The gate and posts are hot-dip galvanised and powder-coated or wet-painted in any RAL colour. The zinc layer and chosen topcoat provide corrosion protection. Anthracite RAL 7016 is the most popular choice beside modern windows and doors; matte black and graphite are equally at home.

We confirm your order within 2 working days without changing the price or the delivery cost, and you pay by bank transfer after our confirmation. If you are unsure, ask before ordering. Collect the gate free of charge from our workshop, or choose delivery in Poland, Spain, Italy or the United Kingdom at the flat rate shown at checkout (for the UK, import VAT and duty are paid on arrival); delivery to other countries is by quotation.
