This is the door most people picture when they say loft door: a slim hinged steel leaf divided by steel profiles into glazed lights, hung in a matching steel frame with a lever handle and lock. Frame, division and glazing are drawn together for your opening, so the door keeps the flat, graphic look of a steel screen. The division in the main picture is the standard version.

The additional image in the gallery puts three divisions of the same leaf side by side, so they can be compared before you choose:

• a regular grid, with the glazing divided across the width and the height,
• horizontal divisions only, which stretches the opening visually and keeps the view wide,
• an asymmetric division, where an offset vertical shifts the rhythm to one side.

All three are the same door: the same hinged leaf, the same frame and the same way of opening. Only the division changes, and it is set out for your opening so the lights stay in proportion. Sliding, double-leaf, partition and vestibule versions are separate products in the catalogue.

What we agree with you before production

• the structural opening and the hinge side, with the door at the standard 900 x 2100 mm or made to measure,
• the division you choose and how it is set out at your width and height,
• the frame and division sections and the way the glass is held,
• the glass: VSG 4.4.1 laminated (approx. 8 mm) as standard or VSG 3.3.1 as the economy option, clear, frosted or tinted,
• hinges, handle, lock case and cylinder,
• the fixing to your wall and what the delivery contains.

Finish

Primed and painted. Matte black as standard, any RAL colour on request to match other steelwork, joinery or window frames in the room.

Order the standard version at the price shown and name the hinge side and the division you prefer in the order comment at checkout; for another size, ask for a quotation before ordering. We confirm your order within 2 working days without changing the price, and agree the glass and hardware with you before production. Products ordered in the shop are ready for collection within 7 weeks of your order, or delivered in Poland, Spain, Italy or the United Kingdom, or by courier in Germany, within 9 weeks, if our order confirmation reaches you by the end of the second working day after your order and you pay within 7 days of receiving it; if it reaches you later, these times run from the day your payment arrives.
