This outdoor stair railing is a welded steel guard for garden steps, terrace stairs and entrance flights. Square posts on mounting plates carry a continuous sloping handrail, and the square-section infill runs parallel to the pitch line.

Posts, handrail and infill are S235JR steel with fully welded joints, and every bar ends and connects at a post. As standard the infill is square steel bars 20 x 20 mm, max. 100 mm clear gap; a denser spacing is made on request.

The base configuration is a 2600 mm run, 1000 mm high above the pitch line. Each railing is built to the actual stair: run length and pitch angle, number and spacing of posts, landings and changes of direction. Hot-dip galvanising is the standard finish; the railing can stay in raw zinc or take a powder coat over the galvanising in any RAL colour.

A sure grip on every step

The Outdoor Stair Railing is a straightforward, well-built guard for garden steps, terrace stairs and entrance flights. Square posts on mounting plates carry a continuous sloping handrail, and the square-section infill runs parallel to the pitch line as if drawn with a ruler. Every bar ends and connects at a post, so the infill is supported along its full length.

The whole assembly is welded steel made for permanent outdoor use. It feels as solid under a gloved hand in winter as it does in summer, and the galvanising protects it for years without painting.

Choose your infill spacing

The infill comes in a denser or a more open spacing. Denser closes off the side of the stair more, more open looks lighter. As standard the infill is square steel bars 20 x 20 mm, max. 100 mm clear gap; a denser spacing is made on request.

Made to measure for your steps

The base configuration is a 2600 mm run with a guard height of 1000 mm measured from the pitch line. Every railing is built to the actual stair:

run length and pitch angle,
number and spacing of posts,
landings and changes of direction,
top fixing on the treads or side fixing to a stringer or wall.

Finish

Hot-dip galvanising is the standard finish and protects the steel inside the sections too. Leave the railing in the raw silver of the zinc, or add a powder coat over the galvanising in any RAL colour, such as matte black.
