A driveway that stays clear

A cantilever gate does not run on a rail in the ground. The leaf is carried by roller carriages on a concrete footing beside the entrance, and a triangular tail behind the leaf balances it as it slides. The driveway itself stays completely free: nothing to trip over, nothing for snow, leaves or gravel to jam, and no groove to clean out every autumn.

The leaf is welded from steel with horizontal slats in an even rhythm, a clean modern look that matches our pedestrian gate and fence panels. Ordered as a set, the whole boundary shares the same slat spacing and colour.

Made to measure for your site

Every gate is built to the entrance and the space beside it:

• clear opening width and leaf height,
• length of the counterweight tail for the space along the fence,
• slat width and gap size,
• sliding direction, left or right,
• manual operation, or prepared for a gate motor and gear rack.

The gate is equally suited to a family house and a business entrance, and on a sloping driveway it avoids the problem of a hinged leaf hitting the ground as it opens.

Finish

The leaf is hot-dip galvanised and powder-coated in any RAL colour, the right protection for a gate that stands outside all year. Anthracite RAL 7016 and matte black are the most popular colours next to modern facades.

The foundation and any motor and electrical work are agreed separately. Dimensions and colour are confirmed with you before fabrication.

We confirm your order within 2 working days without changing the price or the delivery cost, and you pay by bank transfer after our confirmation. If you are unsure, ask before ordering. Collect the gate free of charge from our workshop, or choose delivery in Poland, Spain, Italy or the United Kingdom at the flat rate shown at checkout (for the UK, import VAT and duty are paid on arrival); delivery to other countries is by quotation.
