Is a steel or aluminium driveway gate better?

Both are possible: our gates are welded from steel as standard, and aluminium can be asked about before ordering. Steel welds into a rigid frame and takes a wide range of finishes, which suits larger leaves and heavier use. Aluminium is lighter, which can help with a long leaf or a hand-operated gate, and we offer it where we have confirmed that the design can be built that way.
