The Steel Terrace Pergola with Open Rafters is a metal pergola in welded steel: a box-section wall beam on the house and posts at the front carry rafters at even centres, with nothing laid on top. It gives shade and structure, not rain cover. For a dry terrace, choose the Steel Terrace Canopy.
The wall beam is pre-drilled for facade anchors, the front posts have welded base plates, and every visible joint is ground. The rafter grid can take a shade sail or climbing plants; tell us at order time if you plan either, and we take it into account when sizing the sections.
The reference bay is 4000 x 3000 mm with 2600 mm clear height, enough for a six-seat table. Span, projection, height and rafter spacing are set to order: closer rafters give more shade, wider spacing more sky. The frame is powder coated in your RAL colour.
It is ordered through a quotation: the reference size is quoted at the price shown, and for other terrace dimensions send your sizes; we reply within 24 hours on working days. The quotation states the rest, and we supply the drilling pattern for the wall beam. The pergola comes in welded sections that bolt together on site, with no welding at your address.
Shade and structure, not a roof
This is the open version of our terrace structure: a welded steel frame with a wall beam and front posts, with the rafters left exposed. Nothing sits on top of them. You get architectural shade, a frame for climbing plants or a shade sail, and an outdoor room that still feels like it is outdoors.
Pergola or full roof
If you need to stay dry underneath, choose the Steel Terrace Canopy with a full roof covering. Same structural logic, different job: a pergola is for sun, a canopy is for weather. It is the first decision to make, and usually easier than it looks.
Made to your terrace
The reference bay is 4000 mm wide and projects 3000 mm at a 2600 mm clear height, which suits a six-seat table with the chairs pulled out. Every pergola is cut and welded to order, so the span, projection, height and rafter spacing are yours to set. Closer rafters give more shade; wider spacing gives more sky.

What it is ready for

Fixing and delivery
The wall beam fixes to masonry, concrete or a ring beam, and we supply the drilling pattern and post base plates ready to anchor. The pergola arrives as welded sections sized for transport and bolts together on site, with no welding at your address.

Collect your order free of charge from our workshop, or have it delivered at the cost stated in your quotation. Products ordered in the shop are ready for collection within 7 weeks of your order, or delivered in Poland, Spain, Italy or the United Kingdom, or by courier in Germany, within 9 weeks, if our order confirmation reaches you by the end of the second working day after your order and you pay within 7 days of receiving it; if it reaches you later, these times run from the day your payment arrives.
