Can a steel pergola have a solid roof?
Yes. Our steel patio cover has a solid roof on pitched rafters, so rainwater runs to the front edge and drip, or into a gutter and downpipe on request. The pergola carport can be built with closely spaced slats and a steel sheet roof for full rain protection. With a solid roof we size the rafters and posts for its weight and for snow loads.
