How high should a steel pergola be?

Our pergolas and patio covers have 2600 mm clear height as standard, giving easy headroom under the beams. On the pergola carport we raise the clearance for vans and campervans, and on a wall-mounted structure we set the height to suit patio doors, windows and the roof pitch. Tell us the height from the patio to the bottom of the upstairs windows or to the eaves, add a photo of the wall, and we will agree the height together.
