How do I attach metal legs to a wooden tabletop?
Through the pre-drilled mounting plates at the ends of the legs: you screw the top on from underneath with wood screws. For solid wood tops we use slotted holes that let the timber move across the grain, so the top does not crack or warp. Our X legs come with screws for timber tops, and on our own tables assembly is simply bolting the top to the base.
