Quadro Upholstered Storage Bed

Storage for bedding, out of sight

Quadro looks like a calm, elegant upholstered bed, and under the mattress it hides storage for duvets, throws and spare bedding. The mattress frame lifts together with the mattress on gas springs and opens up the storage space.

We divide the headboard into a grid of soft quilted squares. The base is covered in the same fabric, and short black legs sit hidden underneath so the bed stands low and compact.

Classic or Premium

We make Quadro in two versions. Both have bedding storage and a gas-spring lifting frame; the difference is the construction of the base sides:

• Classic: the sides and headboard have an upholstered chipboard body, and we weld the mattress support frame from steel sections. It is the proven way to build an upholstered bed, with the mattress resting on welded steel.
• Premium: we weld the whole side structure from steel sections, not only the mattress frame, and the upholsterer covers it in the fabric you choose. It is the version for anyone who wants steel not only under the mattress but in the sides of the bed as well.

We do the welding in our own workshop, and the upholstery is made by the upholsterer we work with.

Three mattress sizes

We make Quadro for one of three mattress sizes:

• 160 × 200 cm
• 180 × 200 cm
• 200 × 200 cm

The standard outer dimensions are 176 / 196 / 216 x 217 cm for a 160 / 180 / 200 cm mattress, with the headboard 120 cm from the floor and bedding storage approx. 25 cm deep; other headboard heights are made to measure, to suit your bedroom.

Fabric and colour

Quadro is shown in a navy fabric with a velvet look. You choose the fabric and colour when you order; the quilted squares work in dark and light shades alike. We send the available fabrics and colours on request before you order.

Mattress and bedding are not included. Tell us the height and type of your mattress in your order so we can match the lifting mechanism.

How to order

Order the standard version at the price shown and name your fabric and colour in the order comment at checkout; for a custom headboard height, ask for a quotation. The price shown is for the Classic version for a 160 x 200 cm mattress; the 180 and 200 cm sizes and the Premium version, with the whole side structure welded from steel, are priced higher and ordered through a quotation. We confirm your order within 2 working days without changing the price or the delivery cost, and you pay by bank transfer after our confirmation. The standard version is paid in full after our confirmation; a made-to-measure bed takes a 50% deposit before production starts and the remaining 50% once the bed is finished. You can collect the bed free of charge from our workshop, or choose delivery in Poland, Spain, Italy or the United Kingdom at the flat rate shown at checkout (for the UK, import VAT and duty are paid on arrival); delivery to other countries is by quotation.
