What is inside an upholstered bed and who makes it?

Every design comes in one of two versions. In Classic the sides and headboard have an upholstered chipboard body, and we weld the mattress support frame from steel sections. In Premium we weld the whole side structure from steel sections, not only the mattress frame, and the upholsterer covers it in fabric. We do the welding in our own workshop, and the upholstery is made by an upholsterer we work with. The Atelier model is made in the Premium version: its steel frame is on show, powder coated matt black, with the upholstered panels set into it.
