This shoe rack brings the loft style to the hallway: a slim black steel frame, three open shelves in steel slats and a thick oak top that works as a shelf for keys, post and a plant. The slatted shelves let sand and water drip through instead of collecting under the shoes, and the open design keeps every pair visible and easy to reach.

The frame is welded, not screwed together, so the rack stands firm and does not wobble when someone grabs a pair in a hurry. Timber and steel together give it a warm, workshop character that suits both modern and older interiors.

Made to measure for your hallway

Hallways rarely have a standard gap, so we build the rack to yours:

• width and depth to fit a wall or alcove,
• overall height, below a coat rack or window sill,
• number of shelves and spacing for trainers, shoes or boots,
• oak top, steel top or no top,
• free-standing or secured to the wall.

Placed under a wall coat rack or beside a hall tree from the same range, the shoe rack becomes part of a complete, matching entrance in the same steel colour and the same oak.

Materials and construction

• Welded steel frame in square section
• Shelves in welded steel slats
• Solid oak top, oiled
• Levelling feet on request, for older floors that are not quite flat

Finish

The steel is powder-coated in the RAL colour of your choice, matte black as shown or graphite, white or a colour of your interior. The oak top is finished with a hard-wearing oil that is easy to renew.
