Loft Hall Tree with Steel Frame

One piece instead of three

Most hallways collect a coat rail from one shop, a bench from another and a shoe rack that never quite fits. This hall tree replaces all of them with one welded steel frame. At the top, an oak shelf for hats and bags with a rail of hooks beneath it. In the middle, a solid oak bench to sit on while you put your shoes on. At the bottom, a slatted steel shelf that keeps shoes off the floor and lets dirt fall through.

The two tall side frames are welded like ladders, which makes the unit rigid and gives it the clean, open look of a loft interior. Steel does the structural work, oak brings warmth to the entrance.

Made to measure for your hallway

We build the hall tree to your wall and your household:

• overall width and height, up to full ceiling height,
• number of hooks for the people in the house,
• bench height and depth,
• shoe shelf levels, one or two,
• free-standing against the wall or secured to it.

Because the frame stands on the floor and is only secured at the top, it needs just two wall fixings, a real advantage on plasterboard walls where a heavy loaded coat rail would be a problem.

Finish

The steel is powder-coated in any RAL colour, matte black as shown for the loft look, or a colour that matches your doors and handles. The oak is finished with a durable oil.
