Sit down, then find your shoes

A shoe bench solves two small daily problems with one object. You sit to put your shoes on instead of balancing on one leg against the wall, and the shoes live on the shelf underneath instead of across the floor. Low and horizontal, it keeps a narrow hallway feeling open, where a cabinet would close it in.

Both the seat and the shoe shelf are made of welded steel slats. Dirt and water from wet shoes fall through, the bench dries quickly and cleaning is a matter of a brush and a cloth. The frame is welded as one piece, so it stays solid even when it is used as a step or a place to drop a heavy bag.

Made to measure for your hallway

We build the bench to your space and to the people who use it:

• length and depth to fit the wall between doors,
• seat height, lower for children or higher for easier standing up,
• one or two shoe shelves,
• slatted steel seat, or an oak top on request,
• a cushion prepared for, if you want one.

Paired with our wall coat rack above it, the bench forms a compact entrance that takes very little depth: somewhere to hang, somewhere to sit and somewhere for shoes, all in the same steel colour.

Finish

Powder-coated in the RAL colour of your choice. Matte black or graphite suit a loft interior; white or a soft colour make the bench quieter in a bright hallway. The powder coat is hard-wearing and easy to wipe clean.
