Lift the mattress, find the storage

The space under a bed is the largest storage area in most bedrooms, and a lifting base makes it usable. This one is welded from steel: a low base frame on legs, and a slatted platform hinged at the head end on two gas struts. Lift the foot of the bed and the struts take the weight, raising the platform and the mattress together. Duvets, blankets and suitcases go underneath; a gentle push closes it again.

The platform carries curved wooden slats in holders, with a centre rail for stiffness, so the mattress is supported as well as on any fixed base. Welded joints keep the frame square and silent.

Made to measure for your bed

We build the lifting base to your mattress and bedroom:

• any mattress size, including non-standard formats,
• gas struts selected for your mattress type and weight,
• lifting from the foot or from the side,
• height of the base and the storage space,
• free-standing, or sized to fit inside your bed frame or storage box.

The same lifting base can be combined with an upholstered bed from our range, so a new storage bed is made from one design with one supplier.

Mattress, storage box and upholstery are not included. Dimensions and colour are confirmed with you before fabrication.

Choose your mattress size, from 90 x 200 to 200 x 200 cm: the price shown is for the size you choose. Give your mattress type and thickness, the side you want it to open from, the height and the RAL colour in the order comment at checkout, at no extra cost. Another length or width, or a base that fits inside your bed frame, is made to measure: ask for a quotation before ordering, with the inside dimensions of the frame. We confirm your order within 2 working days without changing the price or the delivery cost, and you pay by bank transfer after our confirmation. If you are unsure, ask before ordering. Collect the base free of charge from our workshop, or choose delivery in Poland, Spain, Italy or the United Kingdom at the flat rate shown at checkout (for the UK, import VAT and duty are paid on arrival); delivery to other countries is by quotation.
