Should I choose sliding or hinged steel doors?
Sliding doors on a top track need no swing space, because the leaf parks flat against the wall, so they suit a tight hallway, an en suite or a pantry. They do need a clear stretch of wall beside the opening. Hinged doors in a steel frame close flush, take a standard lock cylinder and separate rooms more closely. For a wide opening, choose our double doors. Compare both opening systems.
