Steel Garden Dining Chair

A dining chair that stays outside

The Steel Garden Dining Chair is an upright chair for eating and working at a garden table. Each side is one welded frame of front leg, armrest and rear leg, and the rear legs continue up into the back. The seat and back are welded steel slats with gaps between them, so the chair dries quickly after rain.

The armrests sit at 640 mm, below the 690 mm clear height under our Steel Garden Dining Table, so the chairs slide under the table when you are not using them.

Standard size and made to measure

The standard chair is 560 mm wide, 580 mm deep and 820 mm high, with the seat at 450 mm. Every chair is welded to order, so you can also choose:

• another seat height or armrest height to suit your table
• a version without armrests
• an aluminium version, whose sections and price are given in a quotation

Materials and construction

• Frame: square steel tube 30 x 30 x 2 mm
• Seat: 8 steel slats 40 x 20 x 2 mm, running side to side
• Back: 5 horizontal steel slats 40 x 20 x 2 mm
• All joints fully welded and ground; one piece, no assembly
• Floor glides under the legs; the chairs do not stack

Finish

The steel is shot-blasted and powder coated in one RAL colour of your choice; matt black (RAL 9005) as in the pictures and anthracite (RAL 7016) are our house standards. Textured or metallic powder coats and, for a coastal or very exposed site, hot-dip galvanising before powder coating are options priced in a quotation.

Seat pads are not included; a fitted outdoor seat pad can be added to the order. It is sold as its own product in the shop, and the aluminium version is priced in a quotation. The seat pads in the pictures illustrate that option.

Ordering

Order the standard version at the price shown, or ask for a quotation for your own dimensions and finish. The price shown is for the standard version described here, with the steel powder coated in one RAL colour of your choice, which you name in the order comment at checkout; other sizes, materials, special finishes and options are priced in a quotation. An order placed in the shop commits you to pay once we have confirmed it. We confirm your order within 2 working days without changing the price or the delivery cost, and you pay by bank transfer after our confirmation. Lead time and delivery

Each chair is welded to order. Products ordered in the shop are ready for collection within 7 weeks of your order, or delivered in Poland, Spain, Italy or the United Kingdom, or by courier in Germany, within 9 weeks, if our order confirmation reaches you by the end of the second working day after your order and you pay within 7 days of receiving it; if it reaches you later, these times run from the day your payment arrives.Collect your order free of charge from our workshop in Piotrowice, or choose delivery in Poland, Spain, Italy or the United Kingdom at the flat rate shown at checkout (for the UK, import VAT and duty are paid on arrival); delivery to other countries is by quotation.
