Can a steel and glass partition be fixed to plasterboard?

Question published Answer published 25 views
A partition is anchored to the floor, ceiling and walls at load-bearing points: masonry, concrete, or the steel or timber studs behind the plasterboard. If the wall is still being built, ask your builder to add blocking at the fixing points before the boards go on. The perimeter sections have anchor points, and we set their spacing to suit your wall, so tell us how it is built and include a photo.
